Academic
HCCA Compliance Focus Group

Membership – Membership in the Academic CFG is open to all Health Care Compliance Association members, however, it is common and useful that the members of the Academic CFG have a professional interest or background in compliance and ethics in Academic Medical Centers, in particular academic settings in health care and teaching hospitals will be the ones to benefit the most from the CFG activities of the Academic Compliance Focus Group.   Assess current developments in AMC by following the documents library and keeping in touch with others in the field.
Purpose – To recognize that academic health care organizations have compliance and ethics issues and concerns that are unique or specific to their activities and that don’t exist in other aspects of their academic medical organizations.  The Academic CFG will provide a forum and means for identifying, discussing and helping participants to develop solutions to these special compliance and ethics concerns and issues through participation in some or all of the following activities:

  • Regular articles in HCCA’s Compliance Today
  • Supporting the Compliance Institute’s Academic Industry Immersion
  • Maintaining the documents library and other Community areas of the HCCA’s Academic Community page on the HCCA website.

To become a member of the Academic CFG first you must be a member of the HCCA.  Then, please contact the Academic CFG Chair, with your contact information.

If you are an HCCA member visit our communities to participate in the latest CFG discussions.
