Membership – Membership in the Behavioral Health CFG is open to
all Health Care Compliance Association members, however, it is customary
that the members of the Behavioral Health CFG have a professional
interest or background in compliance and ethics in Behavioral Health,
including providers large and small, will be the ones to benefit the
most from the CFG activities of the Behavioral Health Compliance Focus
Group. Learn more about Compliance as it relates to the behavioral
health industry. Items like auditing and monitoring and medical
necessity are some of the areas covered.
Purpose – To recognize that behavioral health organizations have
compliance, ethics and business ethics issues and concerns that are
unique or specific to their activities and that don’t exist in
behavioral health organizations. The Behavioral Health CFG will
provide a forum and means for identifying, discussing and helping
participants to develop solutions to these special compliance, ethics
and business ethics concerns and issues through participation in some or
all of the following activities:
- Regular articles in HCCA’s Compliance Today
- Supporting the Compliance Institute’s Behavioral Health
Industry Immersion
- Maintaining the documents library and other Community areas of the
HCCA’s Behavioral Health Community page on the HCCA website.
To become a member of the Behavioral Health CFG first you must be
a member of the HCCA. Then, please
contact the Behavioral
Health CFG Chair, with your contact information.
If you are an HCCA member visit our communities
