Designed for professionals with some compliance knowledge and experience, HCCA’s Healthcare Privacy Compliance Academy is ideal for practitioners who want a deeper understanding of effective compliance management in a healthcare setting. The Academy provides three-and-a-half days of classroom-style learning on the latest news, regulations, and developments related to privacy and healthcare compliance.

Academies are limited in size to encourage engagement with the faculty and other attendees, provide meaningful group discussions, and create an active learning environment where key principles can be practiced and improved.

Participants can earn all of the live Compliance Certification Board (CCB)® continuing education units (CEUs) required to sit for the optional Certified in Healthcare Privacy Compliance (CHPC)® exam, which is offered on the last day. A separate application and fee are required for those who qualify.

Course materials are provided onsite on the first day of the Academy. This includes a binder containing all course materials as well as one-year online access to the Health Care Privacy Compliance Handbook (a $225 value).
