Samantha Kelen

Samantha Kelen is a compliance and ethics executive with extensive experience in the healthcare and energy industries. Her focus is to foster and support cultures that drive ethical decision making and enable employees to provide superior service to our stakeholders. She is a subject matter expert in the design and implementation of effective compliance programs, with a keen ability to bring organizational values to life. Samantha is currently the Chief Compliance Officer at Stellar Health where she is responsible for compliance, information security, and IT programs.

Prior to joining Stellar, she served as Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer at Cardinal Innovations Healthcare providing leadership and oversight to the program integrity, risk, audit, compliance and ethics programs of the organization. Samantha also worked in the Ethics Office at Duke Energy where she led projects to benchmark and update the Code of Business Ethics and Supplier Code of Conduct to simplify language, improve navigation and mobile accessibility, and address emerging risks. Samantha received a Master of Science in Business Ethics and Compliance from the New England College of Business, and a Bachelor of Arts from Purchase College. She is a Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional and a member of the Board of Directors of the Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics & Health Care Compliance Association. She regularly presents at industry conferences and has been published in the Compliance and Ethics Professional, Compliance Today, and Journal of Healthcare Compliance publications. In her spare time, Samantha can usually be found working on a home improvement project while always dreaming of the next one, or tending to her large houseplant collection, begging them to keep it together and stay alive.
