Minneapolis, MN---February 8, 2017--- More than 2,500 health care compliance professionals from the United States and across the globe will gather at the Health Care Compliance Association’s (HCCA) 21st Annual Compliance Institute, March 26 – 29, 2017 at the Gaylord National, National Harbor, MD. HCCA’s Annual Compliance Institute is the bedrock learning event for the health care compliance professional community, it features 272 speakers—22 from the enforcement community—151 sessions, and 10 educational tracks.  

 

The 21st Annual Compliance Institute keynote addresses begin Monday, March 27 with an OIG Update from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Inspector General Daniel R. Levinson, followed by Kristy Gran-Hart presenting “How to Be a Wildly Effective Compliance Officer.”

 

“Human Trafficking and Modern Slavery: The Next Compliance Challenge” will be discussed on Tuesday, March 28 by Vice President Corporate Compliance, Dignity Health Margaret Hambleton and Holland & Knight Partner William Shepherd followed by “Wonders of Spaceflight and Its Risks: Lesson from the Space Shuttle Program” by Director, Crew Operations, SpaceX Dr. Garrett Reisman.
