HCCA's Basic Compliance Academy is a three-and-a-half-day intensive training program focusing on subject areas at the heart of health care compliance practice. Its faculty is made up of experts in the field. Courses are designed for participants who have a basic knowledge of compliance concepts and some professional experience in a compliance function. The Academy addresses methods for implementing and managing compliance programs based on the Seven Element Approach.
An integral feature of the HCCA Basic Academies is the ability to meet industry peers. During the course of the Academy, HCCA will provide a networking dinner that will give participants the opportunity to meet with each other in an informal environment.

Academies are limited to 75 participants and typically sell out several weeks, if not months, in advance. Consequently, we encourage prospective attendees to enroll as early as possible.
Course materials are provided onsite on the first day of the academy. This includes a binder containing all course materials and one-year access to the online version of Compliance 101, 4th Edition.
