Designed for professionals with some compliance knowledge and experience, HCCA’s Healthcare Basic Compliance Academy is ideal for practitioners who are ready to support, enhance, and oversee a comprehensive compliance program in a healthcare setting. The Academy provides three-and-a-half-days of classroom-style learning that addresses methods for implementing and managing compliance programs based on the Seven Element Approach.

Academies are limited in size to encourage engagement with the faculty and other attendees, provide meaningful group discussions, and create an active learning environment where key principles can be practiced and improved.

Participants can earn the live continuing education units (CEUs) required to sit for the optional Compliance Certification Board (CCB)® exams offered on the last day.

Course materials are provided onsite on the first day of the academy. This includes a binder containing all course materials and a one-year digital subscription to the Complete Healthcare Compliance Manual (a $319 value).

Because class size is limited, Academies typically sell out several weeks, if not months, in advance. We encourage prospective attendees to enroll as early as possible.
